Lord Cosmo's grandmother Carisma is one of the most important colored mares in the Trakehner breed today. With her consistency of high quality foals that carry her color she is helping to re-establish the color genes in the Trakehner breed. Her son and sire to Lord Cosmo, Cosmopolit was the first colored Trakehner to be approved in Neumunster, Germany in 2004. It was tragic that we lost him in the 2005 fire having only sired one foal for us, but a miracle that the only foal is the now approved colored stallion, Lord Cosmo.
